Tadelakt and Marmorino polished lime plasters in bathrooms.
Tadelakt and Marmorino plaster are great in bathrooms because they are easy to wipe clean. also the mottled stone look give a feeling of space. The ceilings we usually paint in a Auro anti mold lime paint. All hi alkaline and anti mold.
Using special trowels the plaster is applied in two coats in one day. A olive soap is then used to create the reaction in the lime and the the polishing starts sometime using polished stones that burnish and compress the surface. The marmorino has a slightly finer grain and texture than the tadelakt i use.
